Dear hypocritical, increasingly far-left Canada...

You weren't always a festering bog of broken dreams and perpetual outrage. At one point you attempted to uphold basic rights, like freedom of speech. Freedom of thought, even. I know, I know, that time has long passed. Clearly. In the place of freedom, you've instead fostered a climate of rampant authoritarianism, hypocrisy and even violence. Even more less surprisingly, is your latest half-hearted support of bestiality (see SLOPE SLIPPED: Canada Rules Bestiality is Perfectly Legal... Mostly).

Keep in mind that this is the country where citing the Bible can get one landed in prison. Meanwhile, the man down the block is dressing up his ShiTzu in a satin corset gets a free pass. You allowed it to get this far. I get it, leftists aren't actively advocating for bestiality. Yet.

Still, you're the lot who's voted in the guy who can now jail someone for playing spot the tranny, meanwhile the guy covering his undercarriage in JIF for a night in with his Labrador roams free. See how that's "problematic"? You chose socialism even after having seen how terrible it is (SOCIALIST UTOPIA: Mob of Starving Venezuelans Beg Government for Food). You picked a sod who's basically Bernie Sanders, but with better hair. Then so many of you putrid dungcakes have the gall to complain about it... When you're the ones who squatted atop liberty and birthed this monster.

I don't pity you, Canada. I detest you. You make me feel shame as a half Canadian. Ever heard of shame? You could use some. People are being dragged into court for telling jokes thanks to you. They're also doomed to wait an eternity just for the possibility of receiving free, lousy medical attention. It's healthcare purgatory over there, yet you still parade it around as an accomplishment.

As I said, I understand that many of you radical leftists aren't in support of this animal-loving behavior.  That's where most of you draw the line... Just like a grown man using the same locker room as a little girl is where I draw my line. We all have lines. Which takes us to the overarching point here. Every single person reading this, at some point, is attempting to legislate morality. I accept that. All I ask, dear Canada, is that you stop telling the rest of us that we're racist/homophobic/transphobic simply because our line is drawn before the end of the cliff.

Truly, how do you rationalize imprisoning people for "anti-trans speech" while defending this? Is it because, technically, bestiality is a "victimless" crime? After-all, the dog just likes peanut butter. The owner, well, needless to say he's having a good time. What they do in their bedroom is their own business, right? Right? So how can you condone one breakdown of "sexual norms" while condemning the other?

While you're on the subject, might I direct you to that "slippery slope" discussion you so flippantly brushed off just  years ago.

Let's face it, Trudeau's Canada. Your "values" are merely determined by the trendy social justice cause du jour. You're losing your freedoms because you don't understand them, and you don't deserve them. You'll take safe spaces over autonomy any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I get it now. You're the pits. Just. The. Pits.
