John Hopkins emailed a list out to employees that pretty much stated that 99.9 percent of the population has “privilege,” which included white people, men, Christians, people who speak English, and so much more.

“The list is contained in a January 2024 email sent to staff from the DEI’s office led by Chief Diversity Officer, Sherita Hill Golden, an African-American lady.

A screenshot of the email was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, by @EndWokeness, an account dedicated to fighting wokeness.

Highlighting ‘privilege’ as its ‘Diversity Word of the Month’, the office’s email defined privilege as an unearned advantage associated with certain social groups, such as race, gender, ability, and sexual orientation. It also suggests this privilege can be invisible to those possessing it.

‘Privilege is an unearned benefit given to people who are in a specific social group.’

‘Privilege operates on personal, interpersonal, cultural and institutional levels, and it provides advantages and favors to members of dominant groups at the expense of members of other groups.’

‘In the United States, privilege is granted to people who have membership in one or more of these social identity groups: white people, able-bodied people, heterosexuals, cisgender people, males, Christians, middle or class people, middle-aged people, and English-speaking people.’

‘Privilege is characteristically invisible to people who have it,” the email partly reads.’”

Let me try and make sense out of this. To celebrate MLK Day, in just one email, Johns Hopkins engaged in racism, ageism, sexism, and heterophobia. Is that what MLK meant when he said to judge people by their character?

English is the most common language spoken in the United States. Over 90 percent of people in America speak it, including the person who wrote that email. And nearly everyone in the world is on that list. Which subsequently makes no one “privileged” by the university’s lack of logic.

The Chief Diversity Officer is making a lot of money to spread this type of division and hate that does not even make any sense. But that is what DEI is intended to do. It is meant to spread contempt and nothing else. It is meant to turn hard workers who have earned things in life bitter.

Why did she even waste time making this list? She should have just said who wasn’t privileged. That would have been much, much easier at this point.

I guess that the only ones left without privilege must be mentally incompetent people like her, but then mentally handicapped does not always mean being physically handicapped. So then even that is off the table considering she is still “able-bodied”. That is how dumb it is. You can divide it up into whatever identity group you want, but the more victims you create subsequently makes fewer victims.

To get someone who is not privileged, you would have to find a foreign national who does not speak English, is not a man, is a senior citizen, is in a wheelchair, is lesbian, and is poor. Am I missing any more insignificant character traits?

So I guess we better not request a doctor who speaks English in the United States. Because that would be "an unearned benefit" that is "at the expense of members of other groups." Even though that statement makes absolutely no sense.
