Democrat Senator Admits Her Bill Protects Illegal Immigrant Terrorists
Everything is terrible. Here to make it worse is Dianne Feinstein, offering a "solution" which, by the look of the clip below, she's not even familiar with. Which would be a good thing, considering the bill she's proposing prevents federal agents from arresting illegal immigrants 100 miles of the border. Even for serious crimes. Like terrorism. MSNBC's Chris Hayes, to his credit, challenged her on it.
Her response is basically, "Meh. We can just take that out." How considerate of her.
Yes, the images of kids in cages are heart-wrenching. Even though those photos were snapped when Obama was president. Here's the thing, though. Those images are from a media who has given us more than enough reason to distrust them (see The TRUTH About the Trump Mural at the Migrant Detention Center and Erick Erickson Lays Out How Terrible the Press Has Been on Immigration).
Again, where was all the care points for kids in detention centers four years ago?
Regardless, now we're at the stage where we have to pass a bill to fix this detention center mess. Except even the person who "wrote the bill," like Dianne Feinstein, didn't apparently read it. A bill so "important" that if we don't pass it, we won't be America anymore. Even though these same people running around like the sky is falling, haven't read the bill either. Best case scenario.
The Democrats haven't even bothered dealing with bills penned by Republicans. Any such bill probably sells the kids to the Koch Brothers.
So despite all these people pretending to care about children, this kerfuffle about kids in immigration detention centers seems like another political football. Which Lucy Feinstein keeps pulling away just as Charlie swings to kick it.
If only we had a wall.
