With Justice Brett Kavanaugh preparing for his first day in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, the left is repeatedly sack-tapping themselves in shame. They pulled every trick they had out of their bag in an attempt to railroad Kavanaugh's confirmation. "He's a rapey man! Did you see him get angry when we called him a rapey man? He played Devil's Triangle with Squi over at Timmy's house!"

To the left, those were perfectly sound arguments. To everyone else, they're more bash*t than Creepy Porn Lawyer during a 3am Twitter rant. In fact, according to this Democrat strategist, the left has royally screwed themselves:

Democrat strategist Bryan Dean Wright joined “Fox & Friends” Monday morning to talk about why he thinks his own party’s efforts to stop the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh are likely to backfire.

“Democrats will suffer the rightful consequences of using the victims of sexual assault to advance a political agenda,”

"We used allegations at the last possible minute, rallied up our base and frankly retraumatized a whole bunch of people. Not just Ms. Ford but a lot of folks in America who suffered from sexual assault. So that is the strategy that I found appalling watching these past couple of months.”

“They had an opportunity to continue with the wind in their back and move this towards victory in November. And they blew it. They absolutely blew it.”

All the left had to do was maintain the illusion of sanity until November 6th. To keep the cracked-out Russian conspiracy accusations on the down-low. The Marx fangirling at a minimum. Alas, it was too tall an order.

Obviously, anything people say about elections that have yet to happen is speculation. Nobody will know for sure if the Dems are screwed until the ballots are counted. Regardless of how things turn out, it's safe to say the left has once again done a bang-up job of making fools of themselves.

Now, the only question is if their crazy was enough to turn off the voters. Our fingers are certainly crossed.
