In today's liberal implosion news: one of the Democrats' beloved coalitions scammed tons of blessed greenery from fellow leftists. It's not the first time Democrats have grossly misappropriated funds. The coalition used 90% of the funds to pay themselves, but not for another Pelosi facelift. Shame.

The Democratic Coalition, one of the many new progressive-minded organizations to bloom in the age of anti-Trump fervor, brought in nearly half a million dollars last year. Its donors include Siddiqui, a pair of Hollywood television producers, a former Real Housewife of Miami, and a member of the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors. The vast majority of its funds, however, have come from people whose names don’t make it into Federal Election Commission disclosures: the small, “unitemized” donors who give $200 or less.

The breakdown in 2016, when the Democratic Coalition declared its goal was “making sure that Donald Trump never became President,” was even starker. That year, Dworkin and other staff members received more than 90 percent of all of the Democratic Coalition’s expenditures, either personally or through a consulting company, according to FEC records.

So the majority of that money went into someone's pocket. Not where the donors thought it would go. Maybe they at least funded one or two leftist scream-at-the-sky sessions (see Leftists Protest Election of Donald Trump by Screaming at the Clouds).

Another major loss was using donors' money to pay for the legal fees of a libel suit against the coalition.

The case was settled last summer under undisclosed terms. But the Democratic Coalition never informed current or prospective donors that their contributions would help cover what have turned out to be six-figure legal expenses.

Too bad this scam was only presented now, not earlier. It would have provided more ammunition for Hillary's book "What Happened (To Our Reputation)." Ah well. You lose some, you lose some.

This financial betrayal is yet another glowing example of Democratic hypocrisy (see Socialist Heroes Bernie Sanders, Jane Sanders Under FBI Investigation… for Bank Fraud). The left claims to be honest, virtuous, and compassionate for one another. Turns out their only compassionate about what's in their wallet. Instead of owning up to funds being bequeathed to the wrong heirs, they continue with the virtue signaling. Instead of uniting, they continue the pathetic infighting and lack of leadership. Poor babies.

Shouldn't be all that surprising the Democratic Coalition failed miserably. Democratic anything doesn't work, especially when joined with socialism:
