If you thought the left was going to go gently into the night after Kavanaugh's confirmation, you've got another thing coming. The left is in full-on "resistance" mode, pulling every trick out of their bag to stick it to the "rape-loving" Republicans. They're even going so far as to question the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court has Democrats and liberal activists who opposed his confirmation coalescing around their next strategy: attacking the legitimacy of the nation’s highest court.

The Senate on Saturday officially voted to confirm Kavanaugh by a vote of 50-48. Kavanaugh’s confirmation process was derailed over the past month by a series of sexual misconduct allegations that Democrats used to demand President Donald Trump withdraw Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Democrats used the controversy surrounding the allegations to undermine the Supreme Court’s legitimacy.

“Confirming Brett Kavanaugh in the face of credible allegations of sexual assault that were not thoroughly investigated, and his belligerent, partisan performance in last Thursday’s hearing undermines the legitimacy of the Supreme Court,” said California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Allow me to clear things up for the Dems. Trump made a nomination. The Senate held a vote. More people said "yes" than "no." Legitimacy confirmed

The left has been using activist judges in the Supreme Court to pass their leftist bullhickey for years. Suddenly, now that the court isn't tipped in their favor, it's no longer legit.

Kavanaugh is hardly the first Supreme Court justice to have views. Like it or not, judges have opinions on things. Sometimes, those opinions run contrary to yours. Sometimes, they don't. None of this has any bearing on the legitimacy of the court.

The left is constantly changing their rules. They ramble on about principles until your ears bleed. Yet, the moment they lose their stranglehold, things lose their legitimacy. Sounds to me like they have no principles at all.
