The last time America had a president who was as much an unmitigated disaster as Joe Biden, it was Jimmy Carter. Ronald Reagan turned Carter into a one-term president, ushering in a "Reagan Revolution" that the left and the media (but I repeat myself) are already in a panic about Trump doing this November. According to Dennis Quaid, the actor playing Ronald Reagan in the upcoming biopic, that would be okay with him.

Quaid tells Piers Morgan he'll be voting for Trump. Sure, people think Trump's an @$hole. But he's Dennis Quaid @$hole. Also, the actor has an issue with the lawfare Joe Biden is waging against his political opponent.

"This election everybody's gonna take a side or whatever, but it just makes sense. I was ready not to vote for Trump until what I saw is, more than politics, I see a weaponization of our justice system. And a challenge to our Constitution, that as Americans, I don't think we're gonna have."

The Reagan movie drops on August 30th, shortly after Democrats run out of options and officially nominate Joe Biden as their nominee for president. I'm guessing film reviewers have already written their "reviews" blasting the movie, so until it has a 12% Tomatometer and a 100% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, he's the Reagan trailer.

The Trump "hush money trial" in New York City, which Quaid says is "pathetic" and doesn't matter, is now in the hands of the jury. My gut tells me the best we can hope for is a hung jury. It's Trump vs. a Soros-funded District Attorney and a Democrat Activist judge in New York City, and with the only case that Democrats have left. They have invested way too many resources to let a justifiable NOT GUILTY verdict be rendered.

Not that the lawfare waged against Trump has been effective in the polls up until now:

Will the polls turn in Biden's favor with a guilty verdict as hard as Democrats are hoping they will? Excuse the expression, but the jury is out.
