I guess my first question is how the Department of Homeland Security is going to secure the homeland when they refuse to identify the enemy? Or is that just racist of me to ask? Reminder, this is the same government who has no problem making every day Americans into terrorists fit for the No-Fly list. So putting you on a watchlist? Totes fine. But using the word "jihad"? How dare you.

I mean, what the hell...

A new Department of Homeland Security report urges rejecting use of Islamic terms such as “jihad” and “sharia” in programs aimed at countering terrorist radicalization among American youth.

Sorry, have to pause there. The reason they don't want people saying "jihad" and "sharia" is to keep people from being radicalized? You mean, kind of like not uttering "Voldemort" or something? These-Muslim-Words-Shall-Not-Be-Named!

The Homeland Security Advisory Council report recommends that the department focus on American milliennials by allocating up to $100 million in new funding. It also urges greater private sector cooperation, including with Muslim communities, to counter what is described as a “new generation of threats to the Homeland related to the threat of violent extremism.”

The funds would be used for hiring experts and new social media programs and technology to influence young people not to join terror groups.

“The department’s CVE efforts are an attempt to protect our nation’s young people from extremists who prey upon the Millennial generation,” the report says

Millennials. Of course. Protecting the Millennials from words which they may find triggering. Which these words/ideas, to be fair, warrant more triggering than things like "Trump 2016" written in chalk.

What do we even say here? We've talked about how political correctness is killing us, but that was just from people's personal choices to not say something when they see something. But now we're getting into the government - whose one job should be to protect us from foreign threats - being more concerned with what words are used to accurately describe our enemy than they are with actually defeating our enemy.

The same government who has officials (Obama and Hillary Clinton), who also want to do away with your Second Amendment rights. So to keep you up to date on the score for the government here:

1. Don't say words like "felon."
2. Don't say "jihad" or "sharia."
3. Men are women if they think they're women.
4. Men who think they are women are allowed to use the womens' bathrooms.
5. The acts of terrorists like the Orlando shooter and San Bernardino killers are the fault of the NRA and/or Christians.
6. Guns are mean boom-boom sticks. You shouldn't have them!

But right. You, the sane American who thinks Islamic terrorists are the problem, you're just paranoid. Don't say "jihad." It's triggering. Or racist. Whatever.

But no, you're not. Wanting to defend yourself? Not unreasonable. Wanting to state who the enemy is? Also not unreasonable. We're living in a time where you and I, who believe in biology, good and evil, we're being painted as the evil ones. Nope, it's not all in your head. The world has gone mad.
