When we write about Ron DeSantis owning the libs and the media in the best way possible, it tends to be the man himself. Or when he's busy, press secretary Christina Pushaw tells the press where to stick it. Turns out, it's ALL of Team DeSantis. Deputy press secretary Bryan Griffin had the opportunity to accept an invite for America's Governor to be a guest on The View. His response should be hung in a museum.

Griffin wondered if the shrill harpies (my words, not his) were really interested in hearing about all the great work Gov. DeSantis has been doing for Floridians by protecting their health, standing up for their kids, and defending their freedom. Because if you watch the most trusted source of news for low-information voters and other nincompoops, the hosts don't always sound interested in treating people with opposing viewpoints fairly. Nor do any of the broads sound interested in honest dialogue.

Then Griffin requested the booker for The View circle which of the following statements made about DeSantis best show that The View had any interest in an honest pursuit of the truth:

"[DeSantis is a] negligent, hoociadal, sociopath."

"[DeSantis' policies] are what happens in Venezuela and Nicaragua."

"Death-Santis... I think he's a fascist and a bigot."

The office of the governor respectfully declined.

The irony in all this is while The View's producers were telling Team DeSantis how honored they would be to have him, the hosts were talking about him that morning. The View had the option to side with Ron DeSantis or side with half-naked grown-ass adult men prancing around with children. They decided to side with half-naked grown-ass adult men prancing around with children.

Again, we point this out a lot, but other republicans and conservatives need to take notes. When people on television can't hide the disdain they have for you and the half of America they disagree with, you don't owe them your time. Treat the enemy like the enemy.
