Watch: Israel Lights Up Gaza! Will Donald Trump Save the Middle East?
The war in Israel is on its fifth day as Israel retaliates in full force. And Ron DeSantis attempts to smear Trump over his Israel comments. Today’s show gets right into that.
Trump spoke to a Florida crowd on Wednesday and blamed the Biden administration for the terror attack on Israel, and also attributed it to the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah.
"But Hezbollah, they’re very smart," Trump said. "And they have a national defense minister or somebody saying I hope Hezbollah doesn’t attack us from the north. So the following morning they attacked. They might not have been doing it, but if you listen to this jerk, you would attack from the north because he said that’s our weak spot."
He added, "I’ll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down. That was a very terrible thing. So when I see intelligence, sometimes intelligence. You talk about intelligence or you talk about some of the things that went wrong in the last week, they’ve gotta straighten it out because they’re fighting potentially a very big force. They’re potentially fighting Iran.”
Following a speech, DeSantis gave his remarks.
"Terrorists have murdered at least 1,200 Israelis and 22 Americans and are holding more hostage, so it is absurd that anyone, much less someone running for President, would choose now to attack our friend and ally, Israel, much less praise Hezbollah terrorists as ‘very smart.’" DeSantis wrote on X.
He added, "As President, I will stand with Israel and treat terrorists like the scum that they are."
"Does anyone actually buy that on Donald Trump? That is what bothers me. They know that it is not true and they know that the left is going to pick it up anyway,” Crowder said.
This situation is pretty similar to the Charlottesville situation where the media twisted what he has said.
When he said, “I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally — but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists.”
But the media spun it as if he never condemned them.
Trump also added in his Wednesday speech “The United States will fully support Israel, defeating, dismantling, and permanently destroying the terrorist group, Hamas."
The left constantly twists what Trump says to make it seem as if he stands with dictators, which we know is not true.
Well, it turns out that by calling someone smart, it does not necessarily mean you are praising them.
"Ever heard the term evil genius? I know you heard the term 'genius' but the first part is evil,” Crowder said.
Trump previously said that if he were president, he would threaten to drop a nuclear bomb on Russia if they invaded Ukraine. What a coincidence that Russia waited until Biden was president to invade.
The Trump administration also approved nearly $2.4 billion in arms sales to Taiwan.
Trump also pulled out of the Iran deal and he killed Suleimani.
"He is acknowledging that the opponent has some intellect and skill and you have to combat that. That is it. He is not saying 'Oh, I should be like that guy,'" Gerald A said.
People have also claimed that Trump is anti-Semitic. Even though that is a total lie.
Trump placed a note in the Western Wall in Jerusalem, and became the first U.S. president to visit one of Judaism's holiest sites. He also became the first president who recognized Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Israel even named a small settlement after Trump as a form of gratitude.
Pence also blamed Trump for ‘signaling retreat’ from Israel.
Well, Trump actually brokered the Abraham Accords. So we definitely know that is a lie.
"The point is, there is no way to spin this as though Donald Trump is anti-semtic," Crowder said.
