Few political flacks are more adept at owning the left than Ron DeSantis Spokeswoman Christina Pushaw. It's like watching an artist at work if that artist's canvas is telling opponents to "suck it" using professional vernacular. Other Republicans need to take note of her response regarding the Sunshine Summit.

It's your basic GOP convention. Candidates get to speak to the base. Those who are running in primaries had the opportunity to debate. And because of that, the reporters credentialled were exclusive. Those who didn't make the cut were upset about it, like reporters from The Palm Beach Post and Politico.

Pushaw got word of them and others jibber-jabbering and issued the following statement.

"My message to them is to try crying about it. Then go to kickboxing and have a margarita. And write the same hit piece you were gonna write anyway."

We go through this every four years with the presidential primaries, where debates are moderated by journalismers who hate the people on the debate stage. We know they hate us and are going to do their journalisming accordingly. Conservatives are focused on issues that matter to Americans. The media is focused on J6, the Parental Choice in Education bill they refuse to call by its proper name, and whatever misinformation is being spread on behalf of pro-abortion activists this week. Also, looking to start a fight between DeSantis and Trump.

They don't need access for that. They can write from the hotel lobby. Most of them have their "articles" 75% written before they get there.
