Shares for The Walt Disney Company, whose woke agenda has placed it at odds with the general public for quite some time now, are trading at their lowest level in nearly a decade, hitting a stock price low of $83.53 on Monday.
Disney’s financial troubles followed after the company condemned Florida's Parental Rights in Education law in March 2022, which prohibits any instruction of sexual matters for children in kindergarten through third grade.
You probably remember the bill by the fact that critics called it the "Don't Say Gay," bill, claiming Ron DeSantis actually outlawed the word "gay."
It appears that Disney, who was once associated with images of castles and cartoons, would rather not make content to appease viewers, and is more focused on gendered greetings, anti-racism training courses for employees, and giving old characters progressive makeovers.
A film box office analyst estimated in June that in the last 12 months, Disney lost nearly $900 million on its last eight films.
“The Walt Disney Company is collapsing at the box office. The once envied entertainment company is now struggling to find a profit on almost every single film released. Disney's bloated budgets for these projects are vastly higher than the competition on average, particularly considering the fact that every single film Disney releases comes with blockbuster production price tags.” according to an analysis by Valliant Renegade, a Youtuber who aims to put Hollywood through the business and financial lens of reality.
Remember when Lightyear was reportedly banned in over a dozen countries for depicting “a same-sex couple who share a brief kiss,” which prompted the United Arab Emirates to ban the film, Reuters reported.
Will Disney fail? I would not be surprised if it eventually did since progressivism destroys everything and the company does not seem to have learned its lesson just yet.
