A California teacher at Sierra Middle School resigned after being accused of writing the N-word next to a Black student’s picture on a seating chart.

Students informed parents and officials that they saw the N-word in quotations beside their classmate’s picture. The educator was identified as Kelly Nordstrom, a cultural awareness and diversity teacher.

It’s no surprise that a diversity teacher is racist. Promoting diversity is based on the worldview that race is everywhere and the most important thing. It teaches racial minorities that they will never succeed unless we purposely base everything on race, dehumanizing people and turning them into actual quotas.

Parent Liz Manipol-Lee told Board members at Lincoln Unified that her daughter saw Nordstrom write the racial slur on a seating chart. The Stockton Record reported.

"She said she was taking notes," Manipol-Lee said, holding back tears. "I understand that children were able to see this. My 12-year-old daughter sent me a photo of this ... there is something missing when the teacher of a diversity class feels comfortable to write that."

Even though she resigned, the teacher hasn't admitted to writing the word, according to the Record.

Amy Portello Nelson, whose daughter was also enrolled in the class, said another parent informed her about the incident.

"It was completely inappropriate for her to write out that particular slur directly above the student's picture and leave that chart around for other students to see and photograph," Nelson said. "To add insult to injury, this teacher is their cultural awareness and diversity teacher ... the cultural insensitivity and sense of privilege in this situation is blatant."

The district's minority enrollment is nearly 80%. Why would you even need a diversity class?

District spokesperson Tyler Heberle said, "[W]hile Lincoln Unified School District will continue to address the issues and harm resulting from the incident at one of our schools, we can confirm that the teacher has resigned from employment with our district," the Record reported.

When you no longer promote merit and have someone specifically to teach students about lowering standards in favor of diversity, of course, you are going to get a racist teacher. DEI promotes the idea that minorities can’t succeed unless you degrade merit, which is a recipe for disaster.

Is anyone even buying the fact that these people care? Because they don’t.
