America was and still is the greatest country in the world. But don't get us wrong, America makes bad decisions all the time. Examples: the invention of chia pets, easy bake ovens, and the allowance of men in mascara to compete in ladies' sports. Also on the list is immigration policies, making citizenship a game to win. Like the lottery. 

A shocking number of Iraqi Jamals can win the diversity lottery, immigrate from their terrorist held countries, change their names to Jack, and smoke legal pot. Jackpot. These are the jokes.

The United States issued nearly 30,000 visas to people from nations officially designated as sponsors of terrorism over the last decade through the Diversity Visa "lottery" program, the White House said Monday.

The problem here is an obvious one. Friendly reminder, folks. The Manhattan bicycle bulldozing terrorist came to the U.S. on a "diversity visa."

The program offers a lottery for up to 50,000 immigrant visas annually, “drawn from random selection among all entries to individuals who are from countries with low rates of immigration” to the U.S., according to U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services.

“I am calling on Congress to TERMINATE the diversity visa lottery program that presents significant vulnerabilities to our national security,” Trump tweeted earlier this month following the attack. “Congress must end chain migration so that we can have a system that is SECURITY BASED! We need to make AMERICA SAFE! #USA.”

Typing in ALL CAPS may be insufferably obnoxious, but the president has a point here. Immigration policies should be based on national security, not all the feelz. Need more examples? Just watch as Europe succumbs to all the terror that comes with these tolerance-based policies.

There is nothing racist or nationalist to police who enters our country. America doesn't have to accept any and all people from any and all countries. Often the left will cite an inscription on the Statue of Liberty. Don't be that idiot. An inscription on a statue, which was a gift from France, isn't national policy. Besides, if you lift the Statue of Liberty's gown, she's not hiding jihadists with bombs. We can't say the same for other immigrants.
