The chairman of the DNC is pretty much the grand poobah of the American left. As such, the chairman has to embody leftism to a tee. High on the smug, low on the brain activity. The perfect recipe. Former chairman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, served her post with distinction, if that's what you'd call it (read CAUGHT: DNC Chair Can’t Tell Difference Between a Democrat and a… Socialist? and Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ Latest Deplorable Abortion Comments…). Her firing departure left a big pantsuit to fill. Well, Debbie's replacement, Tom Perez, has just proven himself to be a worthy successor...

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez says the Trump administration is trying to "bully" local law enforcement over so-called sanctuary cities. His comments came after Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Monday that state and local governments seeking Justice Department grants must certify they are not sanctuary cities before receiving the money.

“This administration not only is trying to bully law enforcement and make them [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] agents, but they’re trying to bully immigrant families,” Perez said in a statement Monday.

Firstly, you may have noticed a trend among the left to rail against all things Trump (see HYPOCRITES: Hawaii to Ignore Trump 'Travel Ban.' But They Weren't Taking Refugees Anyways...). Which would be a-okay if Trump were doing questionable things. Hint: ordering U.S. cities to follow U.S. immigration laws isn't one of those things.

It's not bullying for the Prez to demand people in the public sector do their jobs, Tommy boy. See the law.

“Local law enforcement know their communities best and the Trump administration is trying to undermine their role by threatening to take away critical funds that make our communities safe and keep criminals off the streets.”

So, according to Perez, lack of federal funding makes the streets unsafe. Another thing that makes cities unsafe? Non-vetted illegal immigrants. Such are the facts (see REPORT: Over 100 Murders Committed by Illegals. None of them Deported...). Something leftists like Tom would know had he checked the non-CNN news occasionally. Crimes like rape and murder are just a few of the little details oft overlooked.

In fact simply by being here, illegals prove that they don't give a caca about following the law. Sanctuary cities are safe havens for illegals criminals. Regular folks? Not so much. Yet Democrats continue to go to bat for illegals. I'm sure you can guess why (see Hillary Gained Hundreds of THOUSANDS of Votes. From 'Non-Citizens'). And it seems as though many of these "undocumented" migrants are happy to oblige, what with the promises of get-out-of-Mexico-free cards and other accoutrements. Meanwhile American citizens foot the bill. All courtesy of the left, of course. #Caring
