EVIL: Doctor Advises Mother to Choose Assisted Suicide. IN FRONT OF Sick Daughter
Charlie Gard has died. But we have even more single payer horror stories for you (see Single Payer: Judge Gives Charlie Gard’s Parents Two Days and Canadian Journalist Talks Healthcare. Admits Single-Payer Sucks). Like this one. A doctor pushed assisted suicide for a sick girl on a mother, while her daughter was well within earshot.
Yay Canada!
Sheila Elson's 25-year-old daughter, Candice Lewis, has several medical conditions, including spina bifida, cerebral palsy and chronic seizure disorder.During a hospital stay in St. Anthony last November, when Lewis was very sick, Elson said a doctor told her that her daughter was dying and that she had the option to end her life.
"His words were 'assisted suicide death was legal in Canada,'" she told CBC. "I was shocked, and said, 'Well, I'm not really interested,' and he told me I was being selfish."
According to Elson, Lewis was within earshot when the doctor made the comment — which she said was quite traumatic for her daughter to hear.
Take notes America. Stop being so SELFISH and kill your sick children already. It's better for the environment anyway (see Environmentalists Openly Blaming People with 'Too Many Children' for Climate Change).
Behold, the new norm in the world of healthcare. According to socialism, keeping sick child alive is selfish because precious resources go to "waste" which could be used for other sick people. This is what happens when you mix socialism with healthcare. It's a delightful concoction wherein the individual has no rights, because the STATE is paying for everything. Hence Charlie Gard's fate.
Since the government has control over medicine, it decides how shared resources are spent. While socialist doctors, like this one, pressure people with the idea that living with pain is a fate worse than death. When really, it's about numbers. Give up now so your hospital bed can be occupied by someone else who needs and is more deserving of it. Long live the collective!
Wise up, Americans. This is your future.
