In the height of the 2016 election, Bernie Sanders couldn't wait to tout the wonders of socialism. It was as regular as his morning constitutional and slipping in his dentures. Socialist fanboys like Bernie are quick to point out the supposed glories of socialism, while conveniently hiding the darker sides. The reality of socialism doesn't fit as succinctly on a hipster t-shirt.

In Venezuela, women who used to hold positions of authority are now selling their bodies to feed their families:

At a squat, concrete brothel on the muddy banks of the Arauca River, Gabriel Sánchez rattled off the previous jobs of the women who now sell their bodies at his establishment for $25 an hour.

“We’ve got lots of teachers, some doctors, many professional women and one petroleum engineer,” he yelled over the din of vallenato music. “All of them showed up with their degrees in hand.”

At least in prostitution, the ladies are equally paid. No pay gap here, right, feminists? In fact unless men are playing games of hide the sausage with amorous amigos, perhaps the women are making far more shaking their bom-boms.

As Venezuela’s economy continues to collapse amid food shortages, hyperinflation and U.S. sanctions, waves of economic refugees have fled the country. Those with the means have gone to places like Miami, Santiago and Panama.

So families who can afford to leave the socialist Utopia of Venezuela, high tail it for non-socialist countries. But here in America, the joys of "equality and fairness for all" via socialism are peddled by dim-witted members of the AARP.

Even Sánchez, the 60-year-old brothel owner, says he was forced into the business by the Venezuelan crisis.

“This place is mine, thank God,” he said of the modest building, strung with Christmas lights to provide ambiance. “But it hurts me deeply what’s happening over there.”

You may be saying "Oh sure, this is bad, but we have prostitution in the United States!" and you'd be right. Except these ladies, with their degrees, clearly didn't have pinup posters on their walls as young girls, dreaming of the day they'd have to join a brothel to twerk for tacos. Not even the brothel owner is proud of what he's done. He's just thankful he's able to eat. And more than just his own dog.

As Donald Trump said, Venezuela Has FAITHFULLY Implemented Socialism! He's right. This is what socialism looks like. Equal misery for all.
