CNN Is shocked - SHOCKED - over the massive support Americans have for DOGE
Who would have guessed that stopping the blatant misuse of tax dollars for reasons that will never benefit the American people would be deeply popular? CNN’s Harry Enten could not, as he claims to be flabbergasted by the massive public support polls.
"Wait a minute...Whoa." Trump's efforts to cut govt spending are more popular than many think.
-54% say Musk/DOGE should influence govt spending
-51% approve of Trump trying to cut staff govt agencies
-More say Musk (42%) is cutting wasteful spending than needed programs (36%) pic.twitter.com/HsYgnte8RE

According to the Daily Caller:
CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten expressed surprise on Thursday about the popularity of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts to the federal government.
DOGE, which has laid off thousands of federal workers in an effort to drastically reduce federal bureaucracy, claims on its website to have saved taxpayers an estimated $105 billion. Enten, on “CNN News Central,” said he thinks Americans are supportive of the cuts because they largely feel DOGE is targeting waste rather than essential programs.
Can anyone name any "essential program" DOGE has cut? No? Didn't think so.
“This, to me, was one of the more shocking figures that I saw. Made me go, ‘Wait a minute, hold on one second, whoa!’ Americans on Trump and DOGE efforts, Musk and DOGE should influence government spending and operations: Look at this, 54%, the majority say that he and they should,” Enten told host Kate Bolduan, citing a February CBS News/YouGov poll. “How about approve of Trump trying to cut staff at government agencies? Again, you get a majority here, 51%.”
The only ones who should be surprised are those who have refused to listen to the American people. Voters gave Donald Trump a “mandate” and the sooner they accept that the easier it will be for them to sleep at night.
“So, yeah, Elon Musk might not be that popular, but these cuts and the idea of spending cuts, at least within the federal government and cutting at government agencies, that actually has majority support,” he continued. “I was truly surprised by this, Kate. But the numbers are the numbers.”
You don’t have to be a fan of Musk to also agree with the notion that the government should not be funding condoms in Gaza.
Hamas wants free condoms to make bombs and America’s been supplying them. We were just about to spend $50 MILLION on condoms on Gaza— enough to give every guy there 1,000 condoms. That’s a lot of safe sex and even more bombs… pic.twitter.com/JduAhVVHbV

You don't have to be a Trump supporter to recognize that Americans don't want their hard-earned tax dollars going to any of that, especially when it does nothing for those who are struggling to make ends meet. So while the left will do everything in its power to defend this—as if voters hadn’t made their "mandate" clear—it proves they are more committed to uplifting the bureaucracy than to the people they pretend to represent.
