We all out here on the internets had a hearty guffaw on Thursday at the expense of House Democrats. They claimed to be "fighters" in a steaming pile of content, but we were the ones fighting peeing our pants from laughing at them so hard. So, as you can imagine, the most online president in the history of all the United States of America had thoughts on the matter. The White House dropped a response video and, if I may quote popular videogame vernacular, FATALITY!

Let's recap the original video. It isn't the first time that politicians have attempted to hop on a social media trend. But as you watch this, keep in mind something I had learned about this video yesterday. The "fighter" video was a trend from THREE YEARS AGO,

The White House "clapped back," as the youths are known to say. Or, as we oldheads are known to say, while the youths have moved on to new slang we're not aware of yet.

America chose its fighters.

Here, let's introduce you to some of them:

Is any of this going to drive a single person to the polls? No. It's nothing more than a mental health break during the day. At least, in the micro. In the macro, it shows how out of touch and lost in the wilderness the Democrat Party is. They fell victim to one of the classic political blunders. The most famous of which is to never get involved in an election when your candidate is in the early stages of dementia. However, the only slightly less well-known thing is this: Never put out social media content until you've game-planned how your opponent could use it against you.

Democrats have never been as unpopular and irrelevant as they are today, and the fighter video is an example of why. Their opponents destroyed them over it. Apolitical people rolled their eyes. And even their tiny, niche fan base the video was targeting said, "Nah, this ain't it, sis."
