And you thought the left went b-a-n-a-n-a-s over Donald Trump and football this weekend. Wait until they hear about the new travel ban the White House just announced. Yes, Travel Ban 2: Electric Boogaloo (see BREAKING: Supreme Court Reinstates Trump’s ‘Travel Ban’… Partially? and Trey Gowdy SCHOOLS 9th Circuit Court Over Illegal Immigration, ‘Travel Ban’).

Just announced, ironically enough, while people were distracted with taking a knee.

Sudan has been dropped from the original travel ban list, while Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Somalia remain. North Korea, Chad and Venezuela have been added with varying levels of vetting and restrictions for each country. Citizens traveling from North Korea and Venezuela are not affected, only government officials.

“Following an extensive review by the Department of Homeland Security, we are taking action today to protect the safety and security of the American people by establishing a minimum security baseline for entry into the United States,” Trump said. “We cannot afford to continue the failed policies of the past, which present an unacceptable danger to our country. My highest obligation is to ensure the safety and security of the American people, and in issuing this new travel order, I am fulfilling that sacred obligation.”

The left's reaction will be interesting, and most likely hysterical. Because protecting America from anything, much less foreign agents who might be bad actors, is far more triggering than any latent statue representing unity. Which Antifa destroyed in classic overreactive fashion.

Here's the thing: whatever you think of Trump on the NFL, Trump on Twitter, or Trump on hairstyles, he's right when he says his job is to protect the nation. In fact it's one of the only things the Constitution requires of the federal government. Upon my last reading of the Constitution, I found no reference to either "hate speech" or "letting men who think they're women pee with little girls." The Founders had several gross oversights in their penning of the "Document of Negative Liberties" (quick, name that president!). Bunch of white bastards.
