There is a crisis on the border regardless of what the White House wants to call it. The memo is out: Blame Donald Trump. Nancy Pelosi is blaming Donald Trump. The Biden administration is blaming the Trump administration for "dismantling the system." Half the country points out that when conservatives warned about "amnesty," this is exactly what they were talking about. The other half of the country counters with Trumpity Trumpy Trump. The only person we haven't heard from yet has been the former president. Until now.

You take a look. They are coming in from foreign countries. I see they are coming in from Yemen. They are coming in from the Middle East. They are coming in from everywhere. They are dropping them off and they are pouring into our country. It is a disgrace. They are going to destroy our country if we don't do something about it.

It is a crisis like we have rarely had, and certainly we have never had on the border. But it is going to get much worse.

Here's where things will get interesting. Joe Biden's former boss tried the "blame my predecessor" angle. The difference was that George Bush abided by the time-honored tradition of former presidents keeping their opinions to themselves. Donald Trump has no plans to do that. The media will have no plans to stop him since they need and want Trump for ratings, an inconvenient fact that Donald Trump is well aware of. Trump speaking out on Biden's mess at the border is a layup. Doing someone about illegal immigration was a cornerstone of the Trump presidency, so of course, Trump's going to have something to say.

Where it gets fun will be be over any perceived failure of the Biden administration. Because Donald Trump is ALWAYS going to have something to say.
