We've always tried to be fair to Donald Trump (read Donald Trump Releases Tax Plan. We Compare Directly with Bernie Sanders'...), but many are concerned that if he wins the nomination, he's going to veer left in the general. Some people wouldn't find it surprising to see him on Univison after clinching the nomination and - in Spanish - saying that he's always supported amnesty.

What's Patrick talking about, you ask? You know the transgender bathroom laws that conservatives (and even centrist liberals)oppose (see Comedian D.L. Hughley Nails the Transgender Bathroom Debate and EPIC SHERIFF: “You Go into the Bathroom With My Wife, I’m Gonna Make the News…”)... because men shouldn't be exposing themselves in a woman's bathroom? Trump is all for them.

“North Carolina, what they are going through with all of the business that’s leaving and the strife– and that’s on both sides. Leave it the way it is. There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate, there has been so little trouble,” he said.

Trump said he “probably” has transgender individuals working for him, but he didn’t know for certain. “So if Caitlyn Jenner were to walk into Trump Tower and want to use the bathroom, you’d be fine with her using any bathroom she chooses?” asked Matt Lauer.

“That is correct,” Trump responded. He added that he also didn’t support putting in new bathrooms: “I think that would be discriminatory in a certain way.”

Okay, okay. Before you Trump supporters chant at all, don't. Please just don't. We know you think Trump is going to "make America great again." We know you think he's going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. We know you like how you think Trump is super, anti-PC. We know you love the idea that Trump has "balls," and "isn't afraid to say anything." We know how you love the notion that you think Trump is "anti-establishment." We know how you love the idea that Trump is somehow unattached to money in politics and his inability to play the delegate-getting game somehow makes him this glowing outsider who just GETS YOU. Okay? Did I cover all the reasons? I'm sure you'll ALL CAPS them in the comments if I forgot one or two points.

Here's the deal, though. How is the above statement anti-PC? How is what Trump is saying about transgender people being totes allowed to use any bathroom of their choice a display of his massive testicles? If Trump isn't afraid to say anything, why is he following the Democrat party line on transgenders in the bathrooms?

More importantly, this displays a complete ignorance as to the real issue at hand. The issue that's being forced by the left is that they don't want states nor even private businesses to be able to enforce their own bathroom policies. If Trump said "Hey, at Trump Tower, trans people can use whatever bathroom they want. If the newer development down the street chooses differently, that's their right." That would be an entirely tenable position. The problem here is that Trump, as he so often does, is siding with a statist viewpoint.

Again, we're talking about Donald Trump, who's from a city where landlords can be FINED if they believe that men with penises are men (read more on that here).

Also, if you were upset over ESPN's reaction to Curt Schilling's meme (ESPN fired him), but you're totally fine with what Trump has said? You're doing it wrong. Can't have it both ways here.

Transgender "rights" as they've been so deemed, is just the newest battle for the LGBTQAI (silent F) movement. They already have their gay marriage. So, like the famous mouse who asked for a cookie, now they're asking for penis-holders to pee with women. If you think perverts aren't going to take advantage of these laws, then may I direct you to this Seattle man who's already done so. Conservatives understand this. Reasonable people understand this. The only people who don't are far-left SJWs.

Let me be succinct: Donald Trump's answer here is that of a spineless, politically correct, SJW statist.

Also, I've been saying this for months. Trump will NOT be as brutal on Democrats as he's been on Republicans. He will be faaaar more moderate and even center-left in a general. You may like him anyway, THAT'S FINE. But stop with the mental gymnastics to try and act like this isn't true.
