BREAKING: Donald Trump to Pull USA Out of Awful Paris Climate Accord...
Well, slap me silly and call me Gaia, this is fun. According to people who pretend to know things, Donald Trump is prepared to pull the USA out of the Paris Climate Accord. We've been wondering will he or won't he hit the alarm on the dumpster fire of an accord for a while (see Climate Change Funding is Epic ‘Waste of Taxpayer Money.’ Says Trump’s Budget Director! and New Bill Makes EPA ‘Climate Change Research’ Public. Leftists Lose Their Minds!). If you don't know what the Paris Accord is, fret not. It hails from the United Nations, wherein the ENTIRE WORLD would be forced into “fighting global warming.” With disastrous financial policies resulting in oodles of taxes.
Survey says...
President Trump has made his decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accord, according to two sources with direct knowledge of the decision. Details on how the withdrawal will be executed are being worked out by a small team including EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. They're deciding on whether to initiate a full, formal withdrawal — which could take 3 years — or exit the underlying United Nations climate change treaty, which would be faster but more extreme.Pulling out of Paris is the biggest thing Trump could do to unravel Obama's climate legacy. It sends a combative signal to the rest of the world that America doesn't prioritize climate change and threatens to unravel the ambition of the entire deal.
So what does this mean? A full withdrawal could take three years, which puts us right smack into the middle of the 2020 Presidential election cycle. Yeah, I don't want to think about the next election yet either. We just had one. I'm still recovering from that circus. For the immediate future, it means three more years of arguing about global change climate warming of the hot hots, and which spectrum makes it look more flattering. In other words...
It also means liberals who claim to love the planet but actually love dictatorial control over people's lives, will run about their respective countries in their classiest impressions of barnyard fowl panicking about the imaginative descent of the atmosphere. They'll forgo rational arguments, reasoned debate, and any attention to pros and cons. Instead, these titans of "climate caring" will raise their voice several octaves and accuse Trump of the disastrous insult that he "hates the planet, small children, and puppies."
The Paris Climate Accord is less about climate change and more about first world countries (like the United States) forking over control to an unelected bureaucratic panel better represented by Jim Henson puppets in an outer rim planetary bar.
It's not a good idea. None of the bureaucratic climate change "solutions" are good ideas. Watch this video and know truth:
