If you are a woke activist in Florida, you are having a horrible month. If you are a woke activist in America, you are having a horrible month because of Florida. The plan almost worked. A piece of legislation you didn't like was introduced. You lied about what's in it, knowing you could count on the media to swear by it. You cyberbullied corporations, knowing how scared they are of mean tweets. It was the perfect plan, except for two things: Ron DeSantis and Florida's "Parental Rights in Education" Bill are popular.

How popular? Even Florida DEMOCRATS support it.

Not only did Florida Democratic election officials go all-in on the "Don't Say Gay" lie, but their campaign against it was also literally just them saying "gay." Parents were not swayed. It appears even Democratic parents think public schools teaching about sex and gender to kids under ten years old is inappropriate.

At least it is to the parents who are shown the text of the bill.

The problem is the words "in good faith" because liberal activists don't operate in it. If you don't do what they want legislatively, you are a racist sexist homophobe and people are literally going to die. Look no further than Democrats when it comes to common sense voter integrity reform. No matter how many times it is pointed out that Joe Biden keeps lying about what's in the bills, Joe Biden keeps lying about what's in the bills and saying that the next election may not be legitimate if we don't pass the bill he wants to pass. Though, to be fair, the White House has walked back those comments and said we didn't hear what we think we heard.

The mistake opponents of Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill (that supporters call the anti-grooming bill) made is that they lied where people's children are involved. Now that the lies and tactics have been exposed, the left may be stuck arguing bills on their merits.
