Yesterday, we discussed Peter Doocy grilling Karine Jean-Pierre on why President Biden has confidence in Mayor Pete Buttigieg. There were a few more golden nuggets from that press conference that definitely deserve their time in the limelight--all from Pete Doocy, of course, who seems to be the only remaining journalist at the White House.

Doocy quoted Biden's own words about Trump taking classified documents, leaving Karine Jean-Pierre completely speechless.

Doocy also asked KJP how Biden can be trusted with America's secrets, given that he had a secret stash of highly sensitive documents buried in a closet. She claimed he can be trusted because his "lawyers did the right thing" and he "was surprised" by the discovery.

Ah yes, I forgot that being surprised by a committed crime totally exonerates you of any and all malfeasance. It's always quite shocking, but also hilarious, how unprepared Karine Jean-Pierre is for extremely predictable questions.

Last night, this story got even worse for Biden when news broke of a SECOND batch of discovered documents. It sure is convenient this news is breaking now, and not when the first documents were discovered right before the midterm elections!

Biden's aides reportedly discovered the second batch while searching "a location that Biden was known to use after leaving office as vice president." There's no information yet on what the second batch of documents contained, but the first round contained intelligence memos on Ukraine, Iran, and the United Kingdom, which Biden may not have had the authority to take as Vice President. Oops!

It's not known yet if the search is complete, so there could be a few more rounds of documents discovered before this story is promptly swept under the rug and never spoken of again. All while Trump gets prosecuted for the exact same thing, of course.
