I can't be the only one who gets the song stuck in my head when it's DOOCY time. He caught Karine Jean-Pierre slipping today over Biden's regular lies about American inflation. She REALLY isn't good at this. I had to pick a topic to hone in on for a post and went with the economy. But there are clips of her bumbling on the Biden energy crisis and explaining when Joey has got his last C*VID test.

Joey keeps saying inflation is worse everywhere than it is in America. "Look how bad it could be" is what the White House is running with. It's also not true. What Biden keeps saying isn't true. America DOESN'T have the lowest inflation rate. So, why does Biden keep saying it? Because of the pandemic and the war, silly!

While the words the president says are not true, what the president means to say is that things suck for everyone, so keep some perspective. That's not what Biden is saying. The words coming out of his mouth are factually not true. So much so, if a Republican president said them, Politifact would say that guy's pants were on fire. But what Biden says isn't as important as what the White House says Biden meant to say is.

I'd cut KJP some slack. Having to say clarify, correct, and/or walk back what POTUS says when he's left to his own devices looks exhausting. It's why Psaki gave up on her way out of the door. I'm sure Biden was talked to about this. He was probably talked to about how he sounds like a nincompoop when he does the "deer in kevlar vest" lines, or how everyone laughs at him when he says "ultra-MAGA." Biden just forgets because the second thing to go is the memory. He already lost continence. Allegedly, according to critics.

While I understand KJP has a thankless job, it's still an important job that requires some degree of skill and competency. She has shown neither thus far.
