The people who run Joe Biden made the mistake of letting the president speak to reporters on Friday. When asked about why so many Americans refuse to believe what an awesome job he's doing, Biden -- with a straight face -- blamed the media for only reporting the negative stories. No one found this more amusing than Doocy.

Here are Biden's bars from yesterday: "You turn on the television, and there's not a whole lot about 'boy saves dog as he swims in the lake,' ya know? It's about 'somebody pushed the dog in the lake.'"

Doocy reported on Biden's comments after another report on the Biden "Boy Saves Dog Swimming" NOT-Border Crisis. "We see live pictures of a large-scale humanitarian crisis at the border every day. For several years now. But President Biden believes that stories about ineffective policies during his presidency are just because he thinks reporters are disgruntled."

More on the dog being pushed into the lake in the next hour.

I'd be curious to know that the "boy saves dog while swimming in the lake" story is about the border that the media is not reporting. We've seen man saves baby thrown in the lake by smugglers emboldened by Biden's border crisis stories. We've seen man saves five-year-old abandoned by smugglers emboldened by Biden's border crisis stories. Is there a story the media's not reporting that would make the border look like less of a crisis?

As it is, both of those stories were from the first six months of the Biden presidency. The situation has grown worse for the past two years, and if anything the media has tried their best to look for any distraction not to cover how dire it is.

And if Joey is upset there aren't more "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" stories, the media is trying as hard as they can. Either not understanding why so many Americans think the economy su-diddly-ucks or blasting the middle class for not knowing how good they have it.

The White House are the chuckleheads who wanted to make "Bidenomics" a thing. Americans now associate it with their personal struggles of credit card debt, living paycheck to paycheck, and having the cost of basic necessities more expensive than they were three years ago.

I am curious to hear more about the dog though.
