Joe Biden announced his scheme to pay off student loan debt for people who never paid off their student loans--loans they took out for useless degrees they were never going to make enough to pay back. The idea has always been terrible. It was terrible in 2019. It was terrible in 2021. It was terrible earlier this year. AND it's terrible today while we face record inflation and Joe Biden just signed an "inflation" reduction act that is guaranteed to increase inflation.
