Remember when heaps of economists were frantically dribbling all over themselves at the thought of a Trump presidency? Tons of financial experts (and liberals with blogs) were predicting a giant financial collapse. A disaster worse than Michelle Obama's eyebrows. I think it was all the way back in... November.

Yeah, those guys were proven wrong then (see Economist Says 'Market Will Never Recover Under Trump.' Dow Hits All Time High SAME DAY!). Embarrassing, right? Imagine how they must feel now that the financial market is breaking even more records...

Stocks closed at all-time highs Wednesday after a series of executive orders from President Donald Trump.

"People are seeing that the administration is carrying through with some of the things promised," said John Stadtler, the head of U.S. Financial Services Industry Practice. "It looks like long-term capital gains are here to stay."

The Dow closed above 20,000 for the first time, rising 155 points to 20,068. The S&P 500 advanced 0.8 percent to a new all-time high. The Nasdaq composite gained 1 percent, also notching a record high.

"There is nothing bigger than this. A break of 20,000 for the Dow stimulates fresh capital which has been waiting for this moment to join this party," said Naeem Aslam, chief market analyst at Think Markets.

Even after having their wrongness melted away by the Dow's immediate success, the left still wagged their fingers and denied a lasting positive impact from Trump. It was written off as a knee jerk reaction by the markets. Yet here we are, months later... And the Dow is continuing to smash records and leftist faces.

Look, we're just days into this presidency, and we aren't yuge Trump fans here at LwC. Read Courtney's column about why she begrudgingly voted Trump here. We're taking all this with a grain of salt. Or a pound of salt. Blood pressure be damned. Still, one can't deny that since Trump's election there's been quite a few positive side effects. Namely all the liberal tears.
