A father is outraged after discovering his daughter's school has been tying her mask to her face for the last six weeks. If you're wondering why for so long, it's because his seven-year-old daughter has Down Syndrome and is non-verbal. But, you know, the teachers' unions demand kids be masked, science be damned. Please don't proceed with the following two videos if you have sharp objects around you.

The incident took place in Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis has ruled that schools can't force mask mandates. Some of the more union-controlled schools politicized the decision on behalf of President Joe Biden. No word on if this is one of those schools, but I have ten bucks that say all involved have an "I'm with Joe" bumper sticker.

Florida State Rep. Randy Fine went into horrific detail about what occurred.

When her father saw her get off the school bus she was wearing a mask and it was tied around her head with nylon rope. It was full of saliva and the girl couldn't breathe. Yet, that's not the offensive part.

The offensive part is that the school was doing this EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST SIX WEEKS. The teachers would untie the mask at the end of the day. On this one day, they forgot.

The school district, for which there's a special place in hell, issued the following statement:

"The student was given a mask exemption as soon as the parents made the request to school leadership. The school district is investigating the allegations made by the family. BPS strives to ensure each student has the best educational experience possible and will continue in that effort."

Left out in the statement is the part where all the parties involved have been terminated, and the entire school board has resigned in disgrace. Maybe that will come after the investigation. I doubt it, but I would like to be surprised.

Literally, nothing about this incident is based on science, or even "the science." This is a school making a political decision about masks and being cruel and disgusting about it.
