Driver Calls 911 When Threatened by Protesters. What He's Told is Disturbing
There have been a number of stories in the media of cars attacking peaceful protesters. Or at least, that how it's reported in the news. Not drivers acting in self-defense as their lives are being threatened by an angry mob (see EVEN MORE RIOTERS ATTACK A DRIVER IN AN SUV, AND EVEN MORE RIOTERS GET PLOWED and L.A. RIOTERS ATTACK CAR, SMASH WINDOWS. AND THERE'S A DOG IN THE BACKSEAT...). While your leftist douchebag friends call this a violent overreaction and say that the drivers should be prosecuted, I give this example from Columbus, where a driver called 911. Let's see what the driver was told by 911 dispatch.
Columbus Police told Stand Down by Mayor Gintheryoutu.be
"We were told by our mayor to stand down, so the mayor has given them full range of the street," the dispatcher said.
The caller said, "You've got to be kidding me."
"Nope, we were told to stand down," the dispatcher said.
Both the police department and the mayor's office claim that no one was told this. So, someone is lying. Could it be the dispatcher? Sure. It could also be that this wasn't an official order sent down, but superiors made it clear that this was the case. When you see what's going on in Seattle, New York City, and Atlanta, the elected "leaders" of those cities have made it clear the protesters make the rules.
This driver did the "right" thing by calling the police and was told he was on his own. What else can you do besides floor it and speed out of there?
