Bernie Sanders and his cronies vouch for socialism. You know who doesn't? People who actually live under socialist regimes (see Russian Chess Grandmaster Garry Kasparov Smashes Bernie Sanders Socialism). Probably because they're busy foraging for food, like these starving Venezuelans.

With delivery trucks under constant attack, the nation's food is now transported under armed guard. Soldiers stand watch over bakeries. The police fire rubber bullets at desperate mobs storming grocery stores, pharmacies and butcher shops. A 4-year-old girl was shot to death as as street gangs fought over food.

Hundreds of people... marched on a supermarket in recent days, screaming for food. They forced open a large metal gate and poured inside. They snatched water, flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, potatoes, anything they could find, leaving behind only broken freezers and overturned shelves. In the last two weeks alone, more than 50 food riots, protests and mass looting have erupted around the country. Scores of businesses have been stripped bare or destroyed. At least five people have been killed.

It doesn't get much more desperate than this. Unless you're Caitlyn Jenner posing on the cover of Vanity Fair, that is. Socialism's biggest fans like to skip over this little truth nugget called Venezuela. Why? Because it's an argument in itself. Venezuela is living, breathing proof that socialism destroys the human spirit, leaving only a husk of people's former selves. Socialism is equal opportunity in its destruction, even neutering natural resource rich countries like Venezuela.

Which is why leftists never illustrate just how badly people in socialist "utopias" have it. The left can chant all day long about the "rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer," but they ignore real world examples of said chant. I know, not stating anything newsy there. Leftists ignoring facts? Like an SJW feminist avoiding soap. Or a man avoiding a feminist....

Those real world socialist examples of suck exist in the governmental system the left hopes to subjugate the rest of us to. And yes, they want to subjugate people. For the left, it's all about control, telling you how to live your life because they know better (see also ObamaCare). Also, give up your guns. The government will totally take care of you.

Venezuelans are a testament to how socialism really helps to bring people together... Into raging mobs who have to plunder for survival. So in an ironic twist of fate, Bernie is right about socialist policies leveling the playing field. Now there is no playing field at all, just an epic wasteland of needy, starving people. But at least they're equally miserable, right?#Equality.
