Shouldn’t we all celebrate the expectant return of free speech to the public square promised by Twitter’s new supreme overlord Elon Musk? More speech is better, right? Not necessarily. You see, this is only the case for those on the right. The left believes in “free” speech when they can still censor opposition and control what speech people listen to/see.

That doesn’t look like it’s going to be the case once Musk gets ahold of the reins at Twitter. That’s why sea levels are rising with leftist tears, and you can hear screams in the distance.

How does this measure up to other leftist freak-outs? It’s pretty good. Maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10. But I also don’t believe it’s fully sunk in just yet. When Musk actually walks into the Twitter headquarters, puts the entire board out on their a**es, and begins making big changes to how Twitter runs and does business, then it’ll really sink in.

All of this is entertaining, but when the people who have been banned are reinstated, when conservatives are allowed to say such controversial things as “transwomen aren’t real women,” when Twitterites can explain that BLM is actually just a domestic terrorist organization, then we’ll have some solid entertainment.

In the meantime, we can enjoy all the idiots saying they’re going to leave. They will, of course, be on Twitter when Musk starts triggering them again because they’re all vapid attention whores who crave the adoration of like-minded dullards.
