Comcast is ready to have a fire sale and is rumored to be putting the floundering MSNBC on the auction block. The network mayhaps already have an interested buyer: Elon Musk. And if Cousin Elon does go through with the purchase, you can expect Joe Rogan to take over Rachel Maddow's show. Now, is this nothing more than a buttload of edgelording and sh*ttposting? Perhaps. But stranger things have happened. Such as, and this is just one example off the top of my head, Cousin Elon buying Twitter.

He'd probably get a good deal on the 24/7 journalisming network. Ratings are so bad that the network is losing to the Hallmark Channel.

If the sale goes through, blame (or celebrate) Donald Trump Jr. for putting it out into the universe.

Don't think for one second Cousin Elon isn't pondering it.

The first change, other than replacing Joe and Mika with Ligma and Johnson, would be to give Joe Rogan the 9:00 timeslot. The podcaster is already angling for the job.

Obviously, we're all having a great deal of fun with this. There's not much else in the news besides Trump making cabinet picks and people reacting to those cabinet picks. My brain has already finished a cigar and is watching the Bears vs Lions game. However, I find the Joe Rogan tweet realllllllllly interesting.

Joe doesn't engage all that often, outside of sharing the occasional wacky headline or viral video. Any time he gets "political" is confined to his show. But the Maddow tweet is the second time he has fired shots last week. Could we see a more active Rogan in our political and cultural sphere? And to see the legion of apolitical Rogan fans activated in a way that Democrats wished the Swifties would have been?

Let that sink in.
