Elon Musk, when he isn't siring children or shitposting, likes to leave rakes scattered on the ground for Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) to step on. The latest example is the email that was sent to government employees asking them to list five things they did at work that week. The way people overreacted, you would think Cousin Elon asked them to... well, show up to the office in the first place.

Scott Jennings, the lone voice of sanity on an increasingly unhinged CNN, asked a simple question: you have time to complain on CNN, but don't have time to respond to an email?

We had a lady on CNN today, a supposed federal worker who said she was infuriated by the getting this e-mail. She had time to go on CNN, but she didn't have time to send a 30 second email saying, here's what I was working on last week." "This is what people in the private sector have come to hate about how they view the public sector.

Cousin Elon approved.

This goes into the 80/20 issues that the media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) keep being on the 20% side of because heaven forbid they acknowledge the American people approve of Trump thus far. Those of us on the 80% work jobs where telling your boss what you worked on isn't an existential crisis.

For some reason, the billionaires who fund the Democrat agenda through PR firms, non-profits, and NGOs have settled on cuts to our bloated government as their "resist" tactic du joir. They are trying to recreate the Tea Party movement of 2009. Only instead of organizing around cutting spending, they want you to believe ANY CUTS equals a constitutional crisis. Give it a week before everyone who disagrees is a racist, sexist homophobe committing a trans genocide.

You're starting to see it with the left astroturfing "outrage" at town hall meetings, knowing if they lie, they can count on most media outlets to swear by it. As Erick Erickson points out:

It is not a coincidence that so many press outlets just happened to be at this particular town hall ... it is not a coincidence that much of the press coverage left out how many of those who were there to complain were not even residents of that particular congressional district. The sound and fury of the loser left amplified by the press corps that sympathizes with them is a strategy of the left to induce Republican nervous nellies to surrender.

Cousin Elon has to keep doing what he's doing, and the rest of us need to realize what the left and the media (but I yet again repeat myself) are doing.

It's remarkable when you think of it. The Democrats' first true rallying cry under Trump v 2.0 is how unfair it is to expect government employees to work for a living and serve the people.
