Elon Musk is calling for far-left activist groups to be investigated after they launched a campaign attempting to bully Twitter advertisers. There is talk of the Senate calling Musk to testify. I want that to happen now because Musk will be the one asking questions.

CNN reports that what they call "advocacy groups" wrote a letter to some of America's biggest brands demanding boycotts of Twitter if Elon Musk doesn't do what the "advocacy groups" want him to. SPOILER: The advocacy groups are actually a who's who of radical, left-wing activist organizations.

According to CNN, more than two dozen "civil society groups" (again, lefty orgs) said, "As top advertisers on Twitter brand risks associated with a platform amplifying hate, extremism, health misinformation, and conspiracy theorists," adding "Your ad dollars can either fund Musk's vanity project or hold him to account." Coca-Cola, Disney, and Kraft were among the brands.

Elon is not amused. The billionaire called for an investigation, saying sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Daily Wire named some of the top orgs responsible for the letter, and it's the usual suspects of lefty dark money, special interest groups:

• GLAAD
• Media Matters For America
• NARAL
• Pro-Choice America
• Women’s March

This is what they do. It's similar to the disinformation campaigns organized against Florida's "Parental Rights in Education" bill, or the voter integrity bills in Georgia and Texas. Left-wing thugs contact businesses, tell them lies, then demand the businesses act based on those lies... or else. It's why Ron DeSantis making Disney his bitch is so important. He was the first to fight back and let companies know there are now consequences for caving to leftist campaigns like this.

Now, Elon Musk wants to do the same. Who's funding this left-wing mob? We should find out.
