To quote one of the greatest philosophers of the past two centuries Jim Ross, business is about to pick up. The slobberknocker between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is closer to reality. Or, might be closer to reality. Elon tweeted this morning and I never know how serious to take him.

When last we heard, the Colosseum in Rome was pitched as a location. Though Elon's mom called the fight off when her baby boy started training with George's St. Pierre. Musk dropped X this morning with some more details:

- The fight will stream on both X and Meta.

- It's being managed by Elon and Zuck's foundations.

- Everything in the camera frame will be ancient Rome, nothing modern at all.

- The Prime Minister of Italy and the Minister of Culture, speaking with Elon, have agreed on an epic location.

- All proceeds go to veterans.

The part where he points out the fight is NOT being managed by the UFC is curious. Dana White was in the news yesterday after appearing on Mike Tyson's podcast and said HE spoke to Italy's Minister of Culture about hosting the fight at the Colosseum. Whether Elon specifying the UFC was NOT managing the fight the day after Dana was saying he was working on it was a dig or an irrelevant coincidence is anyone's guess. With a lot of Elon's tweets, we find ourselves trying to wonder what Musk means when he uses words like "and," "the," and "is."

Apropos of nothing, shout out to weed entrepreneur Mike Tyson naming his podcast "Hotboxing."

The good news is there was concern Musk might need back surgery. An MRI came back that he did not. Though he does need "minor" surgery on his shoulder.

Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg... sometime in 2024? Your guess is as good as mine. Dana White predicts the fight can bring in a billion dollars worth of revenue and that would be a nice nut to go to veterans. Critics say that buying the fight would be the biggest waste of money... that they of course are going to do anyway. If MugClub doesn't do a fight companion, I'll let my neighbor buy it like I did for the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather fight.
