Elon Musk announced recently he was a fan of Ricky Gervais' new Netflix specialSuperNature. This puts the billionaire in tune with normies and in opposition to the woke c*nts (imaging the word being said with Gervais' accent) who make up the Rotten Tomatoes "Tomatometer."

Not that critics have traditionally been in tune with what normal moviegoers like. One need only look at the number of movies nominated for Oscars that you've never heard of. But with most things, social media has made it worse.

Musk responded by pointing out the obvious: "The 'critics' seek not to critique, but rather to virtue signal. They are out of touch with the people and so lose their credibility with the people."

It's another example of woke vs normies. Woke like movies and comedy that validate their woke worldview, and they judge things on those criteria alone. Normies like things that are entertaining and funny, two things that "woke" "art" never is. Normies like comedy from people like Chappelle and Gervais, not only two of the best to ever do it BUT ALSO two people who are on opposite sides of the political aisle than us. It doesn't matter. Funny is funny.

Wokes like comedy from Hannah Gadsby, who tells you she's not funny and doesn't tell jokes. They also have an uncomfortable sexual attraction to Anthony Fauci.
