On Thursday night, Chief Twit Elon Musk was providing alternative commentary for the Twitter Files Part Deux. As Bari Weiss was tweeting out more examples of how Twitter is who we always said they were, Musk would chime in with his thoughts and answer questions. His answer to this question, while only one word, is explosive.

So, like, were any candidates or elected officials shadowbanned while running for office?

Obviously, he is going to have to provide more than the word "yes." Matt Taibbi is on deck for the Twitter Files Part Three and perhaps Musk's tweet is a teaser. It's one thing to shadowban talk radio hosts and people who share videos from TikTok. Shadowbanning candidates for office, while they are running for office, take things to another level.

At least, it would take things to another level if it's revealed Twitter was only shadowbanning candidates from one political party.

Twitter doesn't play sides, though.

Let's hope when the congressional hearings start, House Republicans do more than mug for YouTube clips than Senate Republicans did the last time they were in power. Everything we assumed was happening at Twitter we now know for a fact was happening at Twitter. Everything we assumed was happening at Twitter, we assume is happening at Facebook as well.
