Like the sands through the hourglass, so are the days of Elon Musk and Twitter. The week in content was dominated by Musk and bird app drama, and it continues into the weekend. The tech company announced a "poison pill" to prevent Musk from taking over the company. Musk is countering by bringing in other investors to join him. At least, according to the New York Post.

A new plan could be announced within days. Sources tell the Post there's a possibility of teaming with private-equity firm Silver Lake Partners. Co-CEO Egon Durban is a Twitter board member, and the company was planning to co-invest with him in 2018 when he was considering taking Tesla private. Of course, the company did not comment.

Twitter announced the "poison pill" on Friday. The "shareholder rights" plan is used to defend against a takeover attempt by discounting share prices to dilute the holdings of new, "hostile" shareholders.

After doing so, the company confirmed its lack of commitment to free speech by censoring the popular Libs of Tik Tk account for the second time this week. LOTT takes videos of progressives saying things aloud and amplifies them. But liberals don't like it when their true thoughts are exposed like that. A partisan political organization is leading a campaign to mass report the account. Twitter is letting them do so. Effectively proving Elon Musk's point about the company.
