Details of Potential "Plan B" Start to Unfold As Elon Musk Questions Shadowy Forces Behind Deplatforming
The drama between Elon Musk and Twitter was quiet on Tuesday, at least in public. Behind the scenes, the New York Post says Musk is putting together new investors to team up with and take over Twitter. Possibly, with hostility! I don't know if this is the "Plan B" Musk said he had, but it at least sounds Plan B-adjacent.
According to sources:
- Musk is willing to put up $15 billion of his own money, up from his original $3 billion-ish investment.
- $20 billion more will come from outside investors.
- The investors combined will own more stock than Musk, though Elon will still own the most individually.
- Morgan Stanley is raising $10 billion in debt against Twitter “in the manner of a traditional leveraged buyout.”
No word on if Jack Dorsey is part of the investment group. Dorsey has been speaking out about the company and other anti-Musk leftists as of late.
The Post also believes Musk's "cryptic tweet" from last Saturday has something to do with what he's trying to make happen behind the scenes. I would have gone with "Suspicious Minds" if it had to be an Elvis song. Even though real ones know Elvis Costello is the one true Elvis.

No new direct tweets about the takeover today. However, Elon had plenty to say about the reasons WHY so many of us are cheering him on. As of right now, the most extreme 10% on the left are the ones WHO WORK for Twitter, censor anyone to the right of Rep. AOC, and believe Musk buying the bird app would be the end of Democracy as we know it.
A social media platform’s policies are good if the most extreme 10% on left and right are equally unhappy

Marc Andreessen expressed concern over how de-platforming won't end with social media platforms. As we saw with Parler in 2021, if you use any technology you could be at the mercy of the radical left. Musk wants to know why, and who is behind it.
Extremely concerning. Who is pushing this censorship/deplatforming? Very shadowy.

Twitter is the least popular, least used of all the platforms. It just appears popular because celebrities, reporters, and politicians like it. For me, Musk buying Twitter is less about Twitter and more about sending a wake-up call to the other platforms. The throttling and shadow-banning are all around. We're fed up. Elon has the cash to do something.
