We've heard all the reassurances before from the Parkland kids. Over and over again, the tell us they don't want to jack our handcannons. David Hogg repeating "no, seriously. We don't want to take away your guns." Then, in comes Emma Gonzalez, saying  "hold my Tide Pod."

It’s just cheaper to take away the guns that aren’t imperative to living in America. You don’t need an AR-15 to protect yourself in bed from a robber at night. You don’t need an AR-15 to have fun at a shooting range. Go join the Army if you want to have fun shooting off a weapon and serve your f***ing  country.

Notice the slip-up where she said join the army if you enjoy "shooting off a weapon." Not just an AR, but a weapon. Quite telling.

Ironically, those Army chaps serving the country are doing so to protect the Constitution. Which clearly recognizes the rights of private citizens to pack heat. Something Emma would know if she spent more time reading, instead of squealing at NRA "boogeymen." Lining up her buzzcut. Finding a new kid to bully.

Regarding Chicago, the overwhelming majority of gun deaths are from handguns, not Ar-15s. Anyone who's ever bought a gun out-of-state knows all handgun sales must be completed at an FFL in the buyer's home state. A Chicagoan can pay for a handgun in any of the 50 states, yes. The out-of-state dealer ships the gat to a dealer in Illinois. The purchase is then subject to Illinois law. So yeah, it's not quite as simple as "go next door and be back in thirty minutes flinging lead."

On the bright side, at least these duncetastic kiddos are being more honest about their intentions. It's no longer "oh, we like guns, just not the NRA." These kiddies have their sights set on your boomsticks and they've gotta grab em all. Be smart, don't fall for it.
