ER Doctors 'Confused' by Transgender Patients' Mismatched Anatomy...
Are you among the many people who are confused by the trannies? It's not that you're intent on being a dickwad toward the she/hes and the he/shes. There's just something in your gut telling you something's off about that 6'5'' gal with the five o'clock shadow and a voice like Johnny Cash. Well, I have just the prescription to make you feel better. There's a new report out there that says doctors in the ER are just as weirded out by the trannies as you are...
Transgender patients often cause confusion in emergency rooms when their genitals don’t match their listed gender, a Thursday New York Times op-ed explained. Many times the awkwardness stems from the transgender patient’s gender identity not aligning with their private parts, emergency room physician Helen Ouyang writes.
“Sometimes the patient is registered as the wrong gender immediately from triage, resulting in a strained communication from the get-go,” Ouyang says.
Okay, I gotta pause right there. The last thing a patient probably wants in the EMERGENCY room is a bunch of confused EMERGENCY room medical staffers, yeah? If I'm in the ER, I want clarity all the way up the ranks. When you're having a medical emergency, the last thing on your agenda, as a patient, is your preferred gender pronoun. Or one would assume. Doctors, nurses, everyone should know who the heck they're operating on. #Basics
When a transgender man comes in and reveals a vagina, staff does not always know how to react properly. Staff are often unsure how to refer to the patients, so they resort to calling the transgender patients “they,” the op-ed says.“Other times, a staff member lets out a surprised gasp as a patient undresses for a physical exam. Then there are the moments when providers call a patient a ‘he/she’ or ‘they’ on rounds,” Ouyang says.
Ouyang claims the problem for this is “ignorance” and a lack of understanding on the health care needs of gay and transgender people.
Oh hell...
“None of this, for the most part, is out of malice. Instead it’s because of our own ignorance — and stems from our lack of education and training on providing sensitive and evidence-based care for transgender patients,” Ouyang continues.
Say Docs, I think I might be of assistance. Those Justin Bieber doppelgängers who come into the ER and have an in-ny where they should have an out-ty? Yeah, them ain't no dudes. They're just confused lesbians in Tapout T-shirts. Who are often simply starved for attention. Being a bit perplexed by that is generally a symptom of a disease they call being normal.
Now, social justice losers will say anyone who gets confused by the sight of the trannies is a bigot. Except that's a big load of crap. Doctors have years of biology studies under their belt. X and Y chromosomes, yo. SJWs have a few blog posts and YouTube videos to back up their side of the argument. But, just as rock beats scissors, biology beats BuzzFeed.
Doctors are confused by the trannydom because it's not natural or scientific, not because of transphobia. The only place where boys can be girls and girls can be boys is in the tranny's mind and in the minds of their supporters. Elsewhere, it's all about that DNA, hoss. You can nip and tuck and inject all you like, but them chromosomes don't lie.
Let's keep things real in a medical situation, yes? For everyone's freaking health sake.
Speaking of science and trannies...
