Even Hollywood's John Cusack Says George W. Bush Better Than Obama
File this under the "holy excrement!" category.
Earlier this week, we reported on a new CNN/ORC poll that shows Americans - for the first time in a decade - now hold a favorable opinion of George W. Bush. How favorable? Most of America now likes W. better than Barack Obama.
Boom. Just got real, son.
But really, how can we trust the average American? Cultural opinion isn't really official until Hollywood chimes in. And they have.
Enter, John Cusack. In an interview with the Daily Beast, Cusack said that Obama's foreign policy is "worse" than Bush's. Duh, but finally leftists are starting to see the light. He said,
"His domestic policy is a bit different, but when you talk about drones, the American empire, the NSA, civil liberties, attacks on journalism and whistleblowers, he’s as bad or worse than Bush. He hasn’t started as many wars, but he’s extended the ones we had, and I don’t even think Dick Cheney or Richard Nixon would say the president has the right to unilaterally decide whom he can kill around the world."
Cusack's not the only Hollywood star to call out the President's less than stellar service to our country. John Voight has been noted as saying, “President Obama does not love Israel” and wants to “be friends with all of Israel’s enemies.” The big difference is that Voight is a well-known logical Conservative and Cusack is a noted frothing-at-the-mouth liberal. Subtle differences.
Voight's daughter, Angelina Jolie, has said that she not only dislikes Obama, but thinks he’s a socialist. Isn't that code for the "N word" according to MSNBC? A friend of hers went even further, saying, “She hates him. She’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise.”
She's right.
Who'd we miss? Which of your favorite Hollywood stars has been outspoken about the President's failed policies? Sound off in the comments below!
