Ron DeSantis took away Disney's special tax breaks on Friday. Disney, like way too many companies, decided to get involved with politics and side with the radical left. They picked the wrong governor to do so against and found out there are consequences. The tax breaks plus the tens of billions lost in the stock value had people wondering if it would send a message to other companies who want to align themselves with the radical left. Exxon may have of our answer.

Exxon decided they did want to find out what happens if they f*cked around and made the announcement they would no longer be flying flags for political activist organizations over their corporate headquarters. They had allowed the flag for the Black Lives Matter political organization, and a rainbow-colored flag symbolizing LGBTQ activism.

Bloomberg reports Exxon has a new flag guidance banning “external position flags” such as PRIDE and Black Lives Matter. Exxon’s PRIDE Houston Chapter was told the new decision "was centered on the need for the corporation to maintain "neutrality."

It is unclear how long the decision to ban external position flags was in the works at Exxon. However, the decision was announced sometime between the Florida House voting to remove Disney's tax breaks and before the Florida Senate did. It could be coincidental. I don't think it is.

Companies are going to need to make choices now. The "Black Lives Matter" flag isn't the sentiment of black lives mattering. It represents the Marxist political organization. The rainbow flag is turning into a symbol for radical left ideology, too. Over the past year, the left has launched coordinated disinformation campaigns against Florida's "Parental Rights in Education" bill and voting bills in both Georgia and Texas.

In every instance, companies have thrown in with the radical left. This could be a sign that's stopping.
