CAUGHT: Report Confirms Facebook Wanted to Ban Trump Posts...
It's no secret Facebook is big on censorship (see Former Facebook Employees SPECIFICALLY NAME 'Steven Crowder' as Blacklisted News Site). We aren't the only ones to have problems with their borderline retardation. Apparently a gaggle of Facebook workers tried to make Trump posts disappear because they were "offensive." Surprise, surprise...
Facebook employees tried to have some posts by US presidential candidate Donald Trump removed from the social network. Posts such as those calling for a ban on Muslim immigration should be branded as hate speech and removed, some workers said.Zuckerberg's decision not to delete Trump's posts led to complaints from employees around the world. ...There was about to be a mini-mutiny of staffers who would threaten to quit after being told they could not delete the candidate's posts.
Threatening to quit your job because someone said mean words? This is what an adult, stinky-diapered tantrum looks like. One expects this sort of fascism from a platform which suppressed conservative content repeatedly in the past. The plot twist here? Mark Zuckerberg voiced a surprisingly rational response when pressured to delete the "offending" posts...
"We can't create a culture that says it cares about diversity and then excludes almost half the country because they back a political candidate. There are many reasons a person might support Trump that do not involve racism, sexism, xenophobia or accepting sexual assault."
Credit where due.
Those words came from Mark "Safe Space" Zuckerberg. Hard to believe, I know. Zucky makes a good point, for a dude with a level of hypocrisy thicker than Hillary's cankles. Since Zuckerberg's been put on blast for his sneaky, globalist ways before, maybe he's trying to appear less biased. Maybe he's been going to therapy. Maybe it's Maybelline. Whatever the reason, the sudden level-headedness is a welcome change. Even if it is just for the public image.
Still, it doesn't erase Facebook's long history of poopiness. While Facebook is a private company and is free to censor away as they please - they haven't exactly been transparent with their clients... Lying about policy and company activities is a big no no. Which is why we filed a legal motion against them. Listen below for more of the deets.
