Ever since social media giants met with the European Union  League of Satan, they've been upping their censorship game (see CENSORSHIP: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter Agree to Ban "Hate Speech" in Europe). Now each social network is on a quest to scrub the interwebs of all things "hate speech." And apparently it's all been rather effective, according to this study...

Social media companies have stepped up both the speed and number of removals of hate speech on their platforms in response to pressure from the European Union to do more to tackle the issue.

Facebook assessed notifications of hateful content in less than 24 hours in 58 percent of cases, up from 50 in December, according to a report by the European Commission.

Twitter also sped up its dealing with notifications, reviewing 39 percent of them in less than 24 hours, as opposed to 23.5 percent in December, when the commission first reviewed the companies' progress and warned them they were being too slow.

Overall, troublesome content was removed in 59.2% of cases - more than double the rate in December, which was 28.2%.

Notice how there's zero mention of what "hate speech" actually is. That's key, mainly because "hate speech" isn't real. But if I had to take a guess, I'd venture it's something along the lines of an ambiguous term the left uses to pummel people into ultimate submission (see CLASSY: Portland Mayor Tries Leveraging City's Tragedy to Suppress Hate Speech). Again, just a guess.

You may have caught a glimpse of the effects of such "hate" cleansing already. For instance, when these former Facebook employees specifically named Steven Crowder as a blacklisted news site. Or when YouTube and Google targeted our videos for restriction purposes.

This right here is why the fight to take back the media extends past just cable TV and unto to the social media deities who giveth and taketh depending on how you microaggressed them that one time.
