Brexit Champion Nigel Farage joined Crowder for this special Ash Wednesday episode where the pair discussed illegal immigration, censorship, media hit jobs, corporatism, and much more.
Although Farage is labeled Conservative by the media, he considers himself more of a Libertarian.
“I hate big government, I believe in free markets, I believe in enterprise and I basically think that our world has been completely taken over by big banks, big business, and big politics,” Farage said. “I loathe corporatism and big government.”
The UK has had similar experiences with migrants, although their troubles have been going on for longer, as they make up “37% of the UK's total foreign-born population.”
In 2023, 1.2 million people migrated to the UK.
“If you are not prepared to defend your borders and if you allow people to come into your country illegally and if you provide accommodation for them and food for them and the chance to work in the illegal industries, it, of course, [tells] the world “Please come.' There's no deterrent of any kind at all,” Farage said.
Farage added that many people coming to the UK do not hold the same Western values as citizens.
“These are young men of fighting age, whose attitudes towards women, whose tolerance of people who are gay, whose support for terrorist organizations like Hamas is at a level, [that creates the environment in which extremism flourishes],” Farage said. “I've warned people in America for years not to allow big Muslim enclaves to build up.”
De-banking is a newer phenomenon where we are increasingly seeing banks close people's accounts for reasons that are believed to be politically motivated.
After being with his bank since 1980, Farage had his account closed, as he then struggled to get an account with 10 other banks.
“Ten banks refused my business because I'm Nigel Farage. I'm a reputational risk to the bank,” he said.
However, unlike in America, in the UK, citizens can ask for the file of all the documents and comments made about them with a private company they are doing business with.
“My Views did not align with those of the bank,” Farage added. “This is why woke is not a joke no. If you haven't got a bank account, you literally can't function or live in the modern world. It's as essential as water.”
The political weaponization of the legal system has also opened a lot of people's eyes to how much political beliefs play a role in the justice system and other parts of life.
"I don't hear anyone talking about reform. It's so typical of human beings to just accept where they are and it needs to change," Farage said.
