Watch: The Media Wants You To Believe Trump Deported A Loving Father - They're Lying
The Trump Administration is getting heat for supposedly deporting a Maryland father under a clerical error. Today’s show gets into why this is nothing more than a media lie.
“They are looking to pull on your heartstrings and imply that someone who has fathered children can’t be taken from kids for committing crimes,” Crowder said.
According to the media, this man was wrongfully deported.
According to The Post Millennial:
In 2019, Garcia was denied bond after an informant alleged that he was a member of MS-13, and ordered to be deported after entering the US in 2011. According to News Nation, a judge granted him an asylum request despite the allegation. However, he was not convicted of any gang crimes in the US.
In a court filing on Monday, the Trump administration said that Garcia had been deported to El Salvador “because of an administrative error.”
The "administrative error" that the media is obsessed with is that he was not intended to be sent to El Salvador.
“He was supposed to be deported and he was not supposed to be here. But because they said this guy may face some threats of violence in El Salvador, likely because of his prior gang activity, they [intended] to send [him somewhere else]," Crowder said. “That is the only error, and they want to make it like an innocent guy was deported.”
The Trump administration wrote in its legal filing, that the "issue was actually litigated and decided in his bond hearing in 2019. IJ Order 2–3 ('Respondent failed to meet his burden of demonstrating that his release from custody would not pose a danger to others, as the evidence shows that he is a verified member of MS-13' and he 'has failed to present evidence to rebut that assertion.')."
"He appealed that decision to the appropriate administrative review body, the Board of Immigration Appeals, which adopted and affirmed the immigration judge’s 'danger ruling' notwithstanding Abrego Garcia’s arguments," the filing added.
"Do you think Americans would be outraged on the technical side of not El Salvador because the remaining criminal gang members whom he was likely active with would have an axe to grind with him?" Crowder said. "The left does not care about you because they want every one of this man's ilk to stay here because of a technicality."
