San Diego School Teaches Pro-Islam Curriculum. This Patriotic Father has NONE of It...
San Diego Unified School District’s is, apparently, partnering with the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to develop “a multi-tiered approach to combating Islamophobia.” In other words, teach Islam in public school. Yes, the same public schools which limit what holiday songs you can sing because of "the separation of church and state." Those public schools.
Shockingly not shocking, parents have an issue with this. But none like this dude...
“My name’s Christopher Wyrick, I’m a resident of San Diego. I’m a taxpayer, a father, a husband, and a very, very proud American. Over the years, I’ve had many titles. One of them I will not accept is 'infidel.'"There has been an argument over the years to keep religious beliefs out of schools, especially any that happen to be associated with Judaism or Christianity. So at what point did you decide that it was OK to teach my children about Islam?”
He makes a good point. Either all religions are taught, or no religions are taught. If you're going to give the thumbs up to Islam, you must also give the thumbs up to Christianity and Judasim, yes? Stands to reason. But we're talking about the left. Reason is a foreign concept like legality is to "undocumented migrants." Drop the chalupa and cha-cha back across the border, hombre.
But for Mr. Wyrick, his sixty-second speech limit didn't stop him. At one point - the point where he illuminated CAIR's terrorist ties (see How Does CAIR Know So Much About the San Bernardino Shooters for example) - he challenged the district to drag him out when they tried cutting him off. Which they eventually did. Think about that for a second. A taxpayer, speaking at a public school district forum, was pushed off the podium by not one but three officers. Methinks the school has forgotten who funds them. But if you're not alarmed by how quickly this father was pushed off the podium by actual representatives of the state, consider this your wake-up call.
Granted, had the school district wanted to push Christianity, Judaism, VooDoo or any other religion in school, the hearing wouldn't have been so heated. Because the school district would never have agreed to any other religion in the first place. There would be no hearing, as there would be no reason to be there. No religions in school.
Alas, Islam dances to the beat of a thousand ka-booms.
